How often should we check that the batteries are working properly?
What should I do if the batteries are smoking or smelling?
Can I call you at 3 in the morning if there is an emergency?
Absolutely. We provide 24/7 emergency New England UPS service. If you should have any other questions please fill out our contact form or call (603) 489-5214.
How long do batteries typically last?
Batteries last 3-5 years. There are some factors that determine their longevity, such as temperature and the amount of discharges. If you should have any other questions please fill out our contact form or call (603) 489-5214.
Do you sell batteries?
Batteries are our main focus. We can provide replacement batteries that are identical to the batteries currently in your UPS. If you should have any other questions please fill out our contact form or call (603) 489-5214.
Do our systems need to be taken offline during maintenance?
No. Depending on the battery cabinet and accessibility to the batteries, we can do all of our load testing with the UPS online.
How much does a typical service call cost?
What do you recommend for a maintenance schedule?
We recommend at least 1 preventative maintenance visit per year and two (2) battery preventive maintenance visits per year. The reason for the two battery PM’s is that the batteries are the weakest link in the UPS.
Do you offer discounts for long term contracts?
What is the average life span of a ups?
What will new batteries cost me to replace?
That is very hard to generalize. There are many different manufacturers and models of UPS batteries. If you should have any other questions please fill out our contact form or call (603) 489-5214.
